  • English pumper oil cans emerged from the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century, as factories and workshops sought after efficient oil dispensing tools to smooth machinery operation.

The Joseph Kaye family founded KAYE'S LEEDS in 1864. It expanded rapidly in 1891 and became the best manufacturer for oil cans in England, but it only lasted till early 1920s.

This adorable oil can resembling Aladdin's lamp, is the classic Pie Crust design by KAYE'S LEEDS. It was used to lubricate automobiles being repaired.

Engraved with "1/6Pt" indicating its capacity.
