OUT OF STOCK
Originally released as Little Doll Mother in 1937 at the Leipzig Trade Fair, the design is so heart-warming, with this gentle girl praying for her baby's speedy recovery, who is tucked safely in his carriage and wrapped in a cozy peachy blanket.
The figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1937. He was hired to create the first molds for Hummel figurines and continued to work with the Goebel Company until his retirement in 1956.
Moeller was known for his realistic depictions of children in Hummel's drawings, which required more intricate molds and time to paint each piece.
Approximately 11.4cm tall. Its trademark on the bottom signifies that it was made during 1960-1972.
