  • A boy carries his ladder with a confident smile -- he must know his job very well!

People from everyday life were the superstars in Hummel’s drawings.

This character was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. He was hired to create the first molds for Hummel figurines and continued to work with the Goebel Company until his retirement in 1956.

Moeller was known for his realistic depictions of children in Hummel's drawings, which required more intricate molds and time to paint each piece.

Approximately 10.2cm tall. Its trademark on the bottom signifies that it was made during 1972-1979, with design number “12/2/0”.
