The little boy clasps his mittens together, while his scarf flows in the wind. Looking slightly bewildered, he embodies the heartwarming resilience of youth against the cold.
Modeled in 1981 by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek, the premier postwar artisan of Hummel Figurines. He worked with the Goebel company in Rödental from 1951 to 2002, where he updated classic designs of the past and oversaw production of new ones.
The base shows: “EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDITION No.6 FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS’ CLUB”.
